2024 vs. 2025 Chevy Equinox: Which Should I Choose?

There are four 2024 Chevrolet Equinox trim levels: LS, LT, RS, and Premier. For 2025, the LS and Premier models are gone, and there’s an all-new ACTIV trim level. The off-road-ready trim features all-terrain tires and a uniquely tuned suspension. Its cabin includes Evotex® and sueded microfiber seats as well as a convenient center console with pass-through.

New Look
The compact SUV’s new exterior style is sporty and bold. It’s available with a two-tone roof, giving it a striking look. The RS trim has its own distinctive appeal, with black emblems and badging, a black grille, a unique lower fascia, and Torch Red and Santorini Blue interior stitching.

Technology Updates
The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox is certainly innovative with its seven-inch display screen and available Alexa Built-in capabilities. However, the 2025 model takes it up a notch. It includes an expansive 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, which comes equipped with wireless smartphone integration and Google built-in capabilities.

Expanded Space
There’s slightly more space to stretch out in the 2025 model, which features an ample 104.3 cubic feet of passenger volume, as opposed to 103.5 cubic feet in the 2024 model. You’ll see that trade-off in the cargo area. The 2024 model can carry up to 63.9 cubic feet of cargo, while the 2025 model holds only 63.5.
